Exile 02:45
Sitting lonely on the scattered debris My home Burnt into the ground By relentless cannons All around me bulldozers and tanks I saw And still see them Destroying the houses Killing my brothers in the name of your god Time to go and leave behind far Land I’ve known all of my life Land I was born in Face the cruel and indifferent outer world I know What you fear most Is that in the end I shall remain strong Spirit is what bombs can’t obliterate Hope can guide through the misery days You’ll find out all your battles were lost Long before very start. You will see – killing single candle Cannot hinder the fire. It goes on.
2.
Looking for an inspiration In this rotten reality Different ways to ease the sorrows Killing fire glowing inside me Many times I neared the edge of hope Seeking calm in isolation Never soothes in truthful way Masking fears with fake emotions Never felt true sympathy at all On the verge trying not to slip With every dawn thoughts seem so renewed Plans look real and ready Hope glares clear and strong You think you are able to cut off the past To look into future, picture it bright But it all bursts! When you have to face the world again in vain Knowledge may be deadly shadow Spectre haunting mind and soul If you cross the certain border You’ll be dragged right to the fall You’ll be dragged right into your fall Clutching madly at sanity Wanting to just freeze this way here But you must choose direction Or face the only destination left And there’s no way back from there No way back from there, no way back again. Just reckon that when When you’re in, you’re here to stay
3.
Father please forgive me Foolish boldness And my hollow pride I brought you the shame Light is blinding my eyes All of my skin burns Filled with pain Everlasting pain In domain of Aether All consuming flame Starts to grow Reaching up for stars The terrific Scorpius Coming down to get me With his claw Rip my soul apart If I could withdraw my whim Right now I would waste no time at all Lead a carefree, jolly life Again Mother, take me far away From here Hear your son’s voice calling In a rushing madness Don’t know what to do Or where to go Reins slip from my hands Poison tongue of Serpens Pours its bitter venom To my heart Spirit slowly fades Now I understand and see it The conceit has doomed me I should have known In the face of raw force Trembles everybody under sky: Mortal, hero, god.

about

We are pleased to present our latest work - Mini Album Exile. The EP announces the latest third, perhaps a double album, which is scheduled for release in spring 2021.
The EP was produced and released entirely by The Adekaem band, which, invariably since the release of the second album "Sound Coloring" in 2017, includes: Andrzej Bielas - keyboards and Krzysztof Stefan Wala - guitars, guitar synth. All the compositions on the EP are made by these two. Jakub Basoń wrote the lyrics, prepared mastering with the band, took part in mixes, designed the cover (together with his father Jacek). The Adekaem band composes and records (keyboards, guitars, vocals) made mix and mastering in his Recording Studio. Traditionally, Krzysztof Żyngiel, an artist painter from Częstochowa, also lends his works.
The band to participate in the recording session of the EP, also the entire third album, invited friends musicians: Tomasz Holewa, drums, (also Chłopcy z Placu Broni), Marcin Staszek, vocals (also Moonrise), Krzysztof Wyrwa, bass guitar (also Millenium), Martyna Zygadło (recently in the final of Voice of Poland).
Recordings of drums and bass guitar tracks were made at HOM Studio in Kłobuck in April and May 2019. Recordings of keyboards, guitars and vocals (Sacred Geometry) were made in the band recording studio in Tychy from July 2019 to March 2020. Marcin Staszek's vocal was recorded in the singer's home studio in Warsaw in April 2020.
